Fort Erie Animal Hospital Staff

Doctor Steven Toenjes, a 1986 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph, has been at Fort Erie Animal Hospital since 1991.  He has learned over the years the strong connection between people and their pets.  Dr. Toenjes, his wife and 2 kids are fortunate to be servants to “Gracie” their cat.  He has also done volunteer work at spaying and neutering clinics in Greece and Portugal as well as at Casa Lupita in Nicaragua. Doctor Sukhdeepak Gill joined Fort Erie Animal Hospital in 2010. He has worked in Buffalo and Toronto for several years each respectively. Dr. Gill grew up in the northern India and this is where he found is passion for working with animals. He is a 2000 graduate of College of Veterinary Sciences, Punjab Agricultural University, India. Dr. Gill likes to spend free time with his wife and two children. He also is a strong soccer and field hockey fan.

Nicole is a graduate of University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus in 2011. She has two horses “Faline” & “Holly” as well as two dogs “Scamp” & “Lexie” and a fish named “Mollie”. Angela is a graduate of University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus in 2011. She has a dog “Rory” & 3 cats “Jade”, “Ruben” & “Ned”. She also has an iguana called “Marley”.
Shannon has been a long term member of the Fort Erie Animal Hospital team. She works part-time. She lives in Fort Erie with her family & numerous pets she has found. She loves matching up pets & owners. Pauline has worked at Fort Erie Animal Hospital for several years. She hasn’t found a pet she didn’t like and loves to help people. Her dogs Holly and Lexi are a big part of her life.
